Kaposi Benedek

Benedek Kaposi was born in 1991 in Budapest. After graduating at the special math class of the Fazekas Mihály Highschool in Budapest, from 2011 he studied solfeggio and music theory at the Bartók Béla Music Conservatory. From 2012 he continued his conducting studies at the University of Pécs before he was accepted to the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music Budapest in 2014. In 2017 Benedek Kaposi received a scholarship at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna.

Kaposi pursued his studies under the guidance of the following masters (chronologically): Gergely Kaposi, Balázs Kocsár, Tamás Gál, Ádám Medveczky, András Ligeti.

As a choir singer and soloist he cooperated with Sir Jeffrey Tate, Sylvain Cambreling, Gustavo Dudamel and François-Xavier Roth; he performed at the Elbphilharmonie, the Laeiszhalle and the Die Glocke in Bremen.

Among other emsembles, Kaposi conducted the Concerto Budapest, the Danubia Orchestra Óbuda, the MÁV Symhony Orchestra and the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
