In Veszprém, Ariel Ramírez's Kreol Mass will be performed in a solemn orchestral mass, the music of which was largely inspired by the composer's European sojourn. Ariel Ramírez proved that so-called 'indigenous musical forms' are capable of conveying the most complex cultural messages, and that religious content and popular, accessible forms are not alien to each other. The composition will be performed by the choir of St. Gellert's Cathedral of Szeged and Dezső Oláh's Imperssions formation, conducted by Szabolcs Szamosi. The solo is sung by Boldizsár László and Szilveszter Szélpál.
