On 22 May, at the Hegyvidék Cultural Salon in Budapest, the audience is invited to attend an exciting conversation taking place between Márta Sebestyén and her mother, Auntie Mona Farkas Ilona Sebestyén. They will discuss similarities and differences, connections and contrasts of the two genres living next to each other: church music and folk music. One expresses religious content, while the other the joys and sorrows of everyday life and as such, they have been interactiing and mutually helping each other to survive. They will also tell musical miracles, as preserved by Márta Sebestyén's voice and her own individual style of singing.
